Agentic Intelligence
An AI workflow that interprets a question, selects relevant tools and data, and assembles contextual outputs within defined permissions.
Understand the concept01 / THE PHYSICAL WORLD, EXPLAINED
A shared language for better decisions.
From Food-Ag to forests, water, energy and infrastructure. Understand the concepts behind physical-world intelligence, without needing to be a GIS, climate or domain expert.

Catchment / Watershed
The land area that drains water toward a common outlet, such as a river, reservoir or lake.
Understand the conceptChange Detection
Comparing observations from different times to identify changes in an area, feature or measured condition.
Understand the conceptD
Drought Monitoring
Tracking persistent water deficits using indicators such as precipitation, soil moisture, streamflow and vegetation response.
Understand the conceptE
Earth Observation
Collecting information about Earth’s land, water and atmosphere using satellites and other observation systems.
Understand the conceptEvapotranspiration (ET)
The combined transfer of water to the atmosphere through evaporation from surfaces and transpiration from plants.
Understand the conceptG
Geospatial Intelligence
Insight derived by relating location-based observations to the assets, environments and activities they describe.
Understand the conceptM
Model Uncertainty
The limits to confidence in a model result arising from incomplete observations, assumptions and imperfect representations of reality.
Understand the conceptP
Physical Climate Risk
Potential adverse consequences from climate-related hazards interacting with the exposure and vulnerability of people, ecosystems or assets.
Understand the conceptPhysical World Intelligence
Decision context built by connecting observations of the physical world with domain knowledge, models and operational questions.
Understand the conceptR
Renewable Site Screening
An initial review of land, terrain, environmental and climate conditions around a proposed renewable-energy site.
Understand the conceptW
Water Stress
A constraint on water availability relative to need. At plant level it concerns crop water needs; at basin level it concerns supply, demand and access.
Understand the concept03 / FROM CONCEPT TO CONTEXT
Bring your industry question. Start with the right evidence.
The glossary explains the language. Cropin connects workflows, data and AI to your operating context. Food-Ag, forest and water intelligence are available; energy and infrastructure workflows are upcoming and can be explored with partners.
